Marathi is a very important language and one of the most spoken languages in India. It is spoken by approximately ninety per cent of the population in Marathi speaking regions in India. Marathi is a very sophisticated language and most people who speak it are literate because the language of the society is not influenced by the outsider and they can read, write and communicate in the language. The language has many expressions in which words are expressed with a different pronoun and this makes the language very interesting.

The Marathi language is also very poetic and descriptive. It is also a highly structured language and if you study the language you will find out that it is written in a very systematic way. Most of the words are used with one or two letters and a word always ends with a 'ghana' instead of a 'ghana' it used to be. English has four-letter words for plural while Marathi has only one letter words. Marathi is also a very complex language that you cannot understand the meaning of words just by listening to them, instead, you have to be able to read and understand the text. But this can be done by joining a few classes.

In Marathi, the 'v' is also considered as a consonant and when you read the words in Marathi it is obvious that the 'v' is pronounced in between two letters of the alphabet. In Marathi, many people regard the 'p 'k' as having equal weight as the 'k 't' in English. The vowel of Marathi is not pronounced with the 'b' sound but with the 'x' sound. You will find that Marathi has many words with no definite definition. So it is very important to know the language. Also, you should be able to differentiate between the internal and external classes in Marathi.
